J.K. Rowling is not here for sexism — no matter who it’s from.

On Friday, the author went off on men who claim to be liberal but make the occasional derogatory, sexist comment about women.

Rowling explained that she unfollowed an otherwise respectable man on Twitter because he suddenly got sexist when attacking Theresa May.

For those who don’t know, the U.K. held a special election on Thursday, causing May’s conservative party to lose their majority.

The man saw it fit to call the British Prime Minister a "whore" simply because he disagrees with her politics — which understandably got Rowling riled up.

The Harry Potter mastermind explained that so-called "‘liberal’ men whose mask slips every time a woman displeases them" are not really liberal — but more like allies to the far-right trolls who threaten women with sexual violence.

We agree! Not that women can’t be insulted — just not with the crutch of misogyny!

Just unfollowed a man whom I thought was smart and funny, because he called Theresa May a whore. 1/14
